This has been a difficult and troubling time for many, and we doubt if anyone has been unaffected by the last 18 months of lockdowns, isolations and losses of loved ones.

Slowly things seem to be getting better as more of the population has had their vaccinations, and although we were hoping for a full release on the 21st June, this has now been delayed by a month, but that thankfully thst does not stop us going to the theatre in limited numbers.

Socially distanced rehearsals for our 1st play, 'Lunch with Mrs Baskin', started yesterday and we hope that the full release from Social distancing will allow for full on-stage rehearsals. With this in mind we are delighted to announce:

Tickets for the show will go on sale shortly after the 19th July, with the aim to be at max 85% occupancy. The dates for the shows will be:

Show week 1: Thurs - Sun 2nd - 5th Sept (three nights plus matinee)

Show week 2: Thurs - Sat 9th - 11th Sept (three nights)

Although we hope that face masks will not be mandatory, we will still ask our audiences to wear them and will expect our staff to wear them.

Things will change, especially around the sale of drinks and food with, initially we think, no food available, and all interval drinks will have to have been ordered in advance with electronic payments only.

We are actively investigating increasing covered space to allow for better distancing as well during the interval.

Our 2nd show of the season will be two one act ‘coarse acting’ plays

Pride at Southanger Park by Rupert Bean &

Cinderella by Michael Green

Together they will make Fun evening out. A Jane Austen style costume drama, based on a never published book, and a Christmas treat of a Pantomime, the likes of which you have never seen before, but beware, audience participation is required.
