LATEST UPDATE ON LEASE RENEWAL November 2025
A massive thank you to everyone who signed our petition. We presented this to the Council in July. You can view the video here: starts at 41 minutes in.
Following the Council meeting, we arranged a visit to the Theatre from the Head of Property & The Council Head of Regeneration, planning and Property. We showed them the site, and had a long discussion regarding what could be done with the site. We received an apology for the original valuation, although the rent review still is proceeding, ELTC has made a number of proposals to the Council and we will meet with them again shortly.
The Club has now served the court papers on the Council, and they have asked for a 12 month stay in execution while we continue to discuss our new space plans.

The theatre will be open on Sundays from
10-12.30 for coffee, set building and light work.
